Environmental Project Lead

About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced and passionate Environmental Project Lead to join our team in Darwin. In this role, you'll lead multi-disciplinary projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams. You'll work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and industry contacts to deliver projects that meet their needs and exceed expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing projects from start to finish, with experience in environmental impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, and project management. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
As an Environmental Project Lead, you'll be responsible for:
- Liaising with clients to understand their needs and develop project proposals
- Leading project teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget
- Developing and implementing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Maintaining effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Identifying and mitigating project risks, ensuring successful project delivery

Who We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Project Lead who shares our values and is passionate about delivering exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental project management, with a focus on impact assessment and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, with experience in developing and implementing project plans
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
