The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team and oversee electrical site activities allocated to construction team members, ensuring safe working practices in accordance with client safety systems and processes.
You will be responsible for planning and ensuring environmental management of construction activities in accordance with client's environmental management systems and processes.
In this role, you will ensure team members complete allocated projects in accordance to specifications of the project and provide input into the estimate of 'costs of construction' for allocated projects in terms of labour, materials and costs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience as an electrical supervisor in a construction-related environment
- Electrical Trade Qualifications
- Relevant Construction Card e.g. White Card
- Tickets and Licenses e.g. First Aid, EWP or Forklift etc.
- Experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects
- Australian driver's license
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
