Job Title: Regulatory Practice Specialist

- Undertaking regulatory activities and making recommendations to support the unit in accordance with legislation and the principles of good administrative decision-making.">
- Providing data-informed recommendations, interpreting legislation accurately, and communicating decisions and outcomes to stakeholders.">
- Identifying and addressing sector risk using risk-based decision-making, exercising powers, gathering evidence, and escalating matters as required.">
- Contributing to effective record-keeping practices, data quality assurance, and appropriate use of regulatory systems.">
- Implementing operational policy initiatives using feedback, evaluation, and data analysis to improve regulatory processes to meet obligations under relevant legislation.">
- Providing high-quality advice and managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders.">
- Preparing accurate, well-written communications on regulation-related matters.">
About You:
">You will be highly organised, capable of navigating complex issues, and possess well-developed conceptual, analytical, and communication skills. You should be able to interpret and apply legislation and policy in a regulatory environment, analyse matters, make sound judgments and recommendations, manage a high volume of work, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
