This Casual Environmental Consultant role will support the delivery of environmental impact assessments and approvals in the Northern Territory. You will be responsible for delivering the best possible outcome for clients with a focus on quality, assist with preparing fee proposals and reports, and prepare environmental approvals documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the delivery of environmental impact assessments and approvals in the NT
- Delivering the best possible outcome for clients with a focus on quality
- Assisting with preparing fee proposals and preparing high-quality reports
- Preparing environmental approvals documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A professional qualification in environmental science, environmental planning or engineering or other relevant degree
- 2-6 years' experience at a professional level, ideally in consulting
- At least 2 years' experience specifically with Northern Territory EIA's
- Demonstrated knowledge of environmental approval processes
- Demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables on competing timeframes
- A clear, concise and professional writing style
Estimated Salary: AU$45 - AU$65 per hour (negotiable on experience)
