We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to support our Residential Aged Care operations and contribute to the highest standards of care and safety for residents and clients.

">About the Role
  • This permanent full-time position will be based at our office in Redfern - Sydney.
  • You will work closely with another Quality Advisor, reporting to the General Manager Care Quality and Compliance in Residential Aged Care.
  • As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance requirements are met and supporting systems and processes are implemented and maintained.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical practice and delivery in complex health contexts, preferably aged care. You will also possess strong project management skills, the ability to influence and work cooperatively to foster positive change, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Residential Aged Care operations to meet compliance requirements.
  • Implement and maintain supporting systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.
  • Conduct audits and monitoring activities to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse without restrictions in accordance with AHPRA requirements.
  • Extensive experience in clinical practice and delivery in complex health contexts, preferably aged care.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to influence and work cooperatively to foster positive change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
