Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description

This is a key opportunity to support major programs of work within our digital service.

As a quality assurance specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the end-to-end quality of our digital products. This includes testing, suggesting changes, and improving systems development to provide consistent quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Undertake software testing by writing and executing functional and non-functional tests at each level.
  2. Identify and raise defects with the squad to improve quality of systems development.
  3. Provide support and advice with implementation of quality assurance recommendations to ensure quality objectives are met.
  4. Develop and maintain systems and processes, including writing automation tests and reviewing release scripts across environments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Writing and executing test scripts.
  • Supporting test plans, test summaries, and status reports.
  • Ability to identify and create data in various formats.
  • Experience in executing User Interface and API Testing.
  • Ability to identify and create data in various formats.
  • A growth mindset to learn new technologies and QA practices.
  • Experience in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience in SQL and database-related testing.
  • Functional experience with agile methodologies.
