Disability Support Worker

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to individuals with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting participants with mobility support, personal care, and medication administration. You will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment for our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility support.
  • Administer medications as required.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a disability support role.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • NDIS Worker Screening check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
