Inventory Specialist

A dynamic and exciting role has arisen in our organisation, offering a unique opportunity to join our team as an Inventory Specialist.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in inventory management, data analysis, and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Analyse and interpret inventory data to provide insights into warehouse stock levels and optimise stock transfers as necessary.
  • Manage and audit system inventory movements to ensure adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Identify and investigate inventory variances, implementing corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and address customer feedback regarding available inventory.
  • Ensure daily duties are completed within standard working hours, achieving a high level of job satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

About You:

  • Continuous improvement mindset, embracing innovation and change.
  • At least 3 years experience in a warehousing/distribution environment, preferably with a strong understanding of inventory management systems.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and knowledge of ERP software.
  • Intermediate computer skills, with expertise in WMS systems and data analysis tools.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent numeracy skills, with a keen analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Positive can-do attitude, with a growth mindset and commitment to ongoing learning and development.
