Finance Officer Role at InvoCare

We are seeking a skilled Finance Officer to join our dynamic team at InvoCare. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate Invoice Processing: Process all supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Document Management: Maintain the scanning and indexing of documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval as needed.
  • Supplier Statement Review: Review supplier statements and index documents, identifying any discrepancies or issues that require attention.
  • Outstanding Invoices: Follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment and resolution of any issues.
  • Weekly Payments: Ensure accurate capture of weekly payments into the banking system, meeting deadlines and requirements.
  • Month-End Reporting: Meet all month-end accounting and reporting requirements, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement, developing effective solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Supplier Creation: Create new suppliers as required, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
  • Vendor Correspondence: Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Team Support: Provide support to the finance team as needed, ensuring seamless operation of our finance functions.
About You:
  • Strong IT Skills: Possess strong IT skills, including proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring high-quality work and minimal errors.
  • Communication Skills: Possess well-developed verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience: Demonstrate experience in a similar accounts payable role, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Possess excellent problem-solving skills, able to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • NetSuite Familiarity: Familiarity with NetSuite is desirable, but not essential.
