About the Role: Become a vital part of our team as a Rail Maintenance Support Officer, playing a key role in ensuring rail operations are safe and efficient. Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing train inspections and safety checks to identify potential hazards.
• Supporting wagon maintenance by conducting routine checks and performing necessary repairs.
• Safely operating tools, machinery, and performing shunting tasks to maintain smooth wagon movements.
• Accurately maintaining records and reporting defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Liaising with planners, supervisors, and contractors to facilitate seamless wagon movements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • • Possess a Full C Class Driver Licence (or higher).
    • Demonstrate basic computer and literacy skills for accurate record-keeping and communication.
    • Meet Category 1 Rail Medical fitness standards and pass ongoing drug/alcohol testing.
