About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leader in the Fire Protection industry.

As a Senior Electrical Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of all Electrical projects within your portfolio, ensuring they meet revenue, profit targets, and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review tenders, submit bids, and ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority guidelines.
  • Interpret building plans, regulations, and codes of practice to direct progress of works, ensuring specifications and regulations are followed.
  • Provide monthly reports on project costs, performance, and margins.
  • Resolve contract value discrepancies, ensure compliance with PMO processes, and accurate setup of new projects in project management systems.
  • Conduct site visits to review project progression, resolve issues, and update construction programs and forecasts as required.
  • Evaluate industrial relations and safety activities and manage employees and subcontractors to maintain good working relationships.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of experience in Project Management (Project Management qualification preferred).
  • Strong leadership abilities with conflict resolution skills.
  • Effective multitasking skills to manage various projects.
  • Capability to thrive in high-stress situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR) or working rights.

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive package that includes benefits such as professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
