Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Hospital Scientist to join our team in the Sleep Investigation Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive sleep investigations and ensuring quality control of technical equipment.

About the Role:

  • Conduct a range of sleep investigations, including polysomnography, using Nox, Alice, and Compumedics systems.
  • Ensure quality control of all technical equipment and analysis methods.
  • Provide teaching and training to staff on sleep and respiratory physiology and measurement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a science or applied science degree from an approved university, requiring three years of full-time study.
  • Registered or registry-eligible for the Board of Polysomnographic Technologist qualification (RPSGT) or equivalent.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and technical ability in polysomnography.
