Water and Sewer Network Manager

Join a dynamic team to excel in the management of water and sewer systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your knowledge of water and sewer networks in our Water Operations Centre.

  • Monitor system availability, configuration and performance of the water and sewer systems in real time.
  • Proactively control systems operations to minimise the impact of system failures.
  • Prioritise and triage work orders for the dispatch of work crews.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to field staff as required.
  • Work in a 24/7 shift work roster with 12 hour shifts to promote work life balance.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV qualification in Engineering or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in water and/or sewage network management within water and sewer disciplines or experience in a similar role.
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Experience and understanding of the operational management of a distrusted network of assets.
  • Experience and understanding of water, wastewater and networks.
  • Ability to effectively utilise information technology, including computerised control & monitoring systems (e.g. SCADA) and geographical information systems.
