Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our team in delivering water and wastewater repair and maintenance services. The successful candidate will oversee the completion of asset maintenance, inspection, repair, and renewal activities on the water and sewer infrastructure.

About the Role:
  • Scoping jobs to support work order management, scheduling, and dispatching.
  • Leading maintenance and repair activities on network infrastructure including potholing services, installation of pipes and fittings.
  • Organising and mobilising inspection and maintenance activities including valves, pipes, trunk mains of the drinking water network and sewer network.
  • Ensuring compliance with Risk Management, Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, Environmental, and statutory obligations pertaining to civil works.
  • Supporting the team in meeting timeline targets and fostering a productive and cohesive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Managing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the team.
  2. Developing and implementing plans for maintenance and repair activities.
  3. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  4. Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with water or wastewater assets.
  • Leadership experience with a small team.
  • Confined Space Entry & Work at Heights tickets.
  • Other relevant tickets such as First Aid/CPR, Implement Traffic Management Plan, Class B asbestos removal, Dogging.
  • Vaccination for Hepatitis A & B or willingness to obtain.
