About the Role:

We are seeking adaptable and proactive project officers to manage strategic projects within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to end-to-end project management, including planning, implementation, and reporting.
  • Assist with grant administration, including managing applications, providing advice to recipients, and monitoring compliance with funding agreements.
  • Support the development and delivery of strategic initiatives, including conducting research, analysing data, and preparing high-quality reports and briefing materials.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, non-government organisations, health professionals, and consumer groups.
  • Assist in policy development and program options, including drafting papers and submissions.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with government processes and Australia's healthcare system is essential.
  • Prior experience in grants administration or project management is beneficial.
  • A background in the Health sector is highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, including sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to draft clear documents for diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication, building positive stakeholder relationships, and high-level secretariat support.
