About the Role

Job Opportunity Summary:
  • A key member of our Accounts Payable team, providing expert guidance and support for AP services to the business.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with contracting, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate invoice payments, while maintaining compliance and serving as a subject matter expert in AP processes and systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure adherence to established invoice approval procedures, including validation of tax, audit, and banking requirements.
  2. Verify service acceptance according to set protocols.
  3. Respond promptly and professionally to supplier and internal stakeholder inquiries.
  4. Identify, escalate, and assist in resolving GR/IR exceptions to facilitate timely payments.
  5. Support supplier data validation and maintenance processes.
  6. Meet deadlines and adhere to AP process timelines.
  7. Maintain compliance with internal procedures and risk management frameworks.
  8. Suggest improvements to payment practices, policies, and frameworks.
  9. Contribute to all aspects of the end-to-end Accounts Payable process.
  10. Promote adherence to SOX compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Supply Chain or Accounts Payable environment.
  • Strong expertise in ERP systems, with SAP and Ariba being essential.
  • Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and similar applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
