Strategic Philanthropy and Grants Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Philanthropy and Grants Manager to join our team at St Vincent de Paul Society Western Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance relationships and increase revenue from supporters and corporate partners, ensuring alignment with organisational values.
About the RoleThis permanent full-time role reports to the Manager, Strategic Fundraising Partnerships and Philanthropy, located in our modern office facilities in Canning Vale and eligible for hybrid work arrangements.
Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of strategies to enhance relationships and increase revenue from supporters and corporate partners, ensuring alignment with organisational values.
- A deep focus on mid and high level donors and supporting and implementing strategies to enhance engagement and make high value asks
- Collaborate with national and local teams to leverage additional revenue sources.
- Identify, write and support the management of high-impact grant and PAF applications to diversify income streams.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professional representation of the organisation.
- Support employees to enhance team performance and achieve KPIs related to philanthropy, grants and PAFs.
- Assist in developing and managing operational budgets and negotiating contracts.
- Monitor data and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

Your Skills and Experience- Proven experience and successful track record in fundraising, including major donors, philanthropy, PAFs, grants and/or support applications.
- Solid understanding of financial returns/ROI.
- Ability to prioritise work effectively while maintaining a focus on financial results and ethics.
- Strategic and tactical thinking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for influencing, negotiating, and building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills across internal teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain) and a valid Driver's License.
