About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Field Operations Area Manager to lead our team in QLD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a team of field operations employees, contractors, and First-In Maintainers (FIMs) to deliver safe and reliable services.
  2. Develop and execute planned maintenance activities in alignment with network and infrastructure requirements.
  3. Ensure the team is adequately resourced and trained to deliver operational requirements.
  4. Partner with BAI leaders and teams to improve operations, including standard processes, policies, and procedures.
  5. Resolve issues and proactively address operations challenges.
Requirements
  1. Strong people management skills with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  2. Tertiary qualification from an accredited university in a role-related discipline or equivalent training and experience.
  3. Extensive experience and knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
  4. Senior level managerial experience with a background in Engineering, Media delivery, or Technology.
  5. Advanced Change Management skills to manage outage plans, site activity, etc.
