Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain industrial water treatment systems to ensure compliance with Western Australian discharge criteria.
  • Analyse and adjust groundwater quality at discharge to meet regulatory standards.
  • Collect and laboratory analyse water samples for accurate results.
  • Respond to and rectify alarms generated by SCADA or customer portals in a timely manner.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess a current driver's licence.
  • Construction Induction certification (or willingness to obtain) is essential.
  • A sound understanding of water treatment processes within a chemical environment and knowledge of discharge criteria in Western Australia are crucial.
  • Experience in the maintenance of valves, pumps, pipelines, and electrical/mechanical equipment is necessary.
  • A commitment to safety is paramount.
