Job Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a skilled Water Treatment Specialist to join our team. As a Water Treatment Specialist, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and adjustment of water treatment plants and equipment.

About the Role:

This is a Monday to Friday position, unless on-site, with site uplift paid.

The role involves mechanical preventative & corrective maintenance of process equipment, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

This is a temp to perm opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance, monitoring, and adjustment of water treatment plants and associated equipment.
  • Performing regular inspections and testing to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  • Responding to and resolving any issues that may arise during operations.

Requirements:

  • Current C-Class Licence
  • White / Blue Card
  • Tertiary Qualifications (Environmental) and/or Trade Certificate (Electrical/Mechanical or Plumbing)
  • Strong water treatment knowledge
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Hydraulic knowledge
  • Electrical & control system aptitude
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • Experience in the Rental, Mining, Construction or Heavy industries
  • Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators or Water Treatment Plant Operators Certificate/experience (desirable)
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
