
Strategic Vendor Partnership Lead

We are seeking a Vendor Partnerships Manager to lead our vendor management and third-party risk management efforts.
This role will involve establishing a Centre of Excellence, leading a team to continually review service agreements, regulatory requirements, and end-to-end processes.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience in vendor management and/or third-party risk management, 5+ years experience in leading teams, expertise in contract lifecycle management, procurement processes, contractual agreements, and commercial terms, strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities include providing input into agreements with key vendors and partners, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, designing and implementing classification procedures and risk management frameworks, coaching and training team members, monitoring and analyzing vendor spend, educating business teams on tools and processes, and supporting ad-hoc requests from COO business teams.
As a Vendor Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for establishing a robust vendor management program, including the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive vendor management strategy
- Establish a Centre of Excellence for vendor management
- Lead a team to continually review service agreements, regulatory requirements, and end-to-end processes
- Provide input into agreements with key vendors and partners
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Design and implement classification procedures and risk management frameworks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10+ years experience in vendor management and/or third-party risk management
- 5+ years experience in leading teams
- Expertise in contract lifecycle management, procurement processes, contractual agreements, and commercial terms
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
