As a leader in Maternity Services, you will be responsible for fostering a caring environment for mothers and babies.

About the Role

This role involves promoting high-quality clinical care and collaborating with senior hospital staff to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in a team-focused environment;
  • Coordinate evidence-based nursing care to ensure optimal patient outcomes;
  • Provide guidance and support to your team members to enhance their skills and productivity;
  • Offer strategic direction to ensure efficient management of ward operations;
  • Effectively manage human, financial, and material resources to drive business results;
  • Undertake direct patient care as required to maintain a high level of patient satisfaction;
  • Ensure compliance with national standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA is mandatory;
  • Registered Nurse experience in pediatrics or midwifery is essential;
  • Knowledge of NSQHS/ACHS Standards is required;
  • Proven experience in leading teams with a service excellence approach;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Postgraduate qualification in Management or relevant area is desirable;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary;
  • A commitment to delivering high-standard clinical and customer-focused care is expected.
