The Welfare Case Manager plays a vital role in supporting injured workers to achieve the best possible health and functional outcomes. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure timely delivery of financial assistance, medical treatment, and other related services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing Payments: Ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly payments and reimbursements
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for relevant documents and access to required services and supports
  • Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate complex issues relating to legislation and policy
  • Policy Adherence: Adhere to all policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in administration
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication and computer skills
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Novus Experience: Experience with Novus, Tempus or Action is highly advantageous
  • Personal Qualities: Good initiative, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
