About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Orders Processing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting and finance department, you will be responsible for performing and coordinating various administrative tasks, with a focus on sales, customer support, and ensuring service parts stock levels are maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing sales and account support, and following up on customer payments
- Updating and maintaining our customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Serving as a point of contact for sales, including providing price quotations
- Identifying and suggesting business improvement processes
- Organizing transportation for deliveries and returns
- Assisting with month-end processes, including RMA communications and account balance details
- Invoicing customers, banking duties, and following up on payments
- Serving as a liaison with internal teams and customers
- Supporting the wider administrative team as required
We are looking for a candidate with:
- TAFE qualifications in Business Administration
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, or background in accounts receivable
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Good time management and communication skills
- Experience with Fishbowl, Reckon, or MYOB
- A cheerful disposition and excellent verbal and written communication skills
