Leadership Opportunity: Deputy Principal

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Deputy Principal to join our school community. This leadership role will involve developing and implementing strategies to enhance student learning outcomes and contribute to the school's vision for quality education.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Support the Principal in strategic decision-making and deputise when required.
  • Promote socially just practices in daily school life, fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance, driving excellence through coaching and mentoring.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of best practices and innovations in education.
  • Cultivate partnerships with students, parents, agencies, and community groups to promote collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Be future-oriented and strategic in planning and implementation.
  • Understand policies and legislation affecting the department, ensuring compliance and responsible resource management.
