You'll be working alongside our co-owner, Dr Will Dear, and become part of a practice that embraces a great culture and strong team ethos. Our busy six-chair practice proudly supports the local community, offering you the chance to feel truly valued for your contribution to both patient care and team success. You'll collaborate with a skilled team of Dentists, Oral Health Therapists, and experienced support staff.

The Role

We're currently recruiting for a 38-hour per week temporary full-time Practice Manager at Coastal Dental Care Runaway Bay, with the potential to continue working within our network beyond the contract period.

In this role, you'll support the clinical operations of the practice and ensure ongoing compliance, while overseeing the day-to-day running of the practice. You'll lead a dedicated team of Dental Assistants and Receptionists, coordinate provider schedules, and provide hands-on clinical support where needed. This is a leadership position where you'll be responsible for practice management, team development, and maintaining high standards across all aspects of care and operations.

The role offers flexibility to work a 4 or 5 day week.

About you

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Previous experience in the healthcare sector, ideally in a Practice Manager or 2IC role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support a team
• Proficiency in Dental4Windows (D4W)
• Applicants must have full Australian work rights, as sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Strong communication, customer service and phone manner
• A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• A Diploma in Practice Management or similar qualification (preferred but not essential)
