We are seeking a seasoned Fleet Operations Manager to lead our team of Assistant Managers and Superintendents in ensuring high safety standards, maintaining operational excellence, and optimizing machine performance and reliability.

About the Role:
  • Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee fleet equipment maintenance, ensure 100% safety compliance, and promote a continuous improvement culture.
  • You will also lead and mentor teams, ensuring compliance with training requirements and personal development plans, as well as oversee P&L statements, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety and Operational Excellence: Ensure high safety standards, maintain operational excellence, and optimize machine performance and reliability.
  • Leadership & Talent Development: Lead and mentor teams, ensuring compliance with training requirements and personal development plans.
  • Business & Financial Management: Oversee P&L statements, budgeting, and forecasting activities, monitor key performance indicators, and report on operations.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with customers, resolve issues promptly, and act as the key point of contact for managing service quality and expectations.
  • Operational Communication: Provide clear reports, ensure adherence to operational practices and safety rules, and address incident reports and corrective actions effectively.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience managing large, complex fleets and teams in a high-demand environment.
  • Strong background in operations, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment performance improvement.
  • A deep understanding of business operations, including financial management, forecasting, and KPI analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams and build lasting customer relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure, make decisions quickly, and lead teams to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
