HR Operations Specialist Role

The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality data analysis, reporting, and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making across people processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity, analysing labour costs, monitoring and forecasting workforce (headcount and FTE). The position also contributes to the ongoing development and automation of HR reporting processes, enabling more effective monitoring of HR data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain systematic, accurate, and timely HR reports and dashboards, including regular reporting on headcount, FTE, vacancies, and labor cost.
  • Responsible for annual reporting activities, not limited to, WGEA, Sustainability report support, annual bonus calculation
  • Support workforce forecasting processes by partnering with HRBPs and Finance to provide accurate data-driven projections.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across HR systems, working closely with HR Operations team to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the annual HR budget process, including modelling and forecasting headcount, FTE, associated labor and HR costs.
  • Work with Global HR Centre of Excellence on compensation and benefits programs, such as salary structures, bonus schemes, and employee wellness programs, that support business objectives.
  • Support compensation-related analytics, including salary benchmarking, salary review analysis, award rate increases.
  • Training broader HR Team to use Oracle reporting tool.
  • Build and enhance automated reporting tools to streamline data collection and distribution of key HR metrics in alignment and collaboration with Global HR Centre of Excellence.
  • Manage the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, and address employee inquiries related to benefits plans.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis to support strategic HR initiatives, business cases, and leadership requests.
  • Assist with compliance and audit-related reporting, ensuring data aligns with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
  • Communicate analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Contributing to continuous and implementation of best practices
  • Provide short-term, flexible required support to the broader HR Operations team by stepping in to cover responsibilities during periods of leave or assist with ad hoc business needs, demonstrating a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a relevant field
  • A sound and practical understanding of HR processes
  • Strong HR Data Analytics experience
  • 2-3 years of data and reporting experience
  • Prior working knowledge of Oracle HCM and/or rostering system
  • Advance Excel and Macro Skills
  • Ability to compile MIS report on Annual leave, Reward and Remuneration, Employee data Analytics
  • Ability to Interpret results to assist in planning, developing, and suggesting human resource management decisions used for total reward, benefits, productivity, and training
  • Intermediatetoadvancedknowledgeof Microsoft Office programs (e.g. – MS PowerPoint, Ms Word etc.)
  • Experience using Oracle or Cloud-based software
  • Highly organised
  • Adaptable to a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities
