Job Title: National Business Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced National Business Manager to join our team at William Grant & Sons. As a key member of our customer marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering our customer marketing strategy, driving commercial growth, and building strong relationships with our customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute omnichannel customer marketing plans to drive commercial growth and customer engagement.
  • Lead the development of our customer marketing team's functional capability, building their understanding of the consumer path to purchase and developing effective marketing strategies.
  • Drive the implementation of our Route to Consumer fundamentals, ensuring that our marketing efforts are aligned with customer needs and preferences.
  • Develop and manage our customer marketing budget, making strategic investment choices to maximize return on investment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and developing marketing strategies that meet their needs.
  • Lead and develop our category development team, monitoring data sources to identify opportunities for growth and developing integrated marketing strategies to drive sales, mix, and margin growth.
  • Align with our customer and marketing teams to ensure that our marketing efforts are aligned with our brand ambition and deliver commercial return.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer marketing, with a strong understanding of omnichannel marketing and customer engagement strategies.
  • Proven track record of driving commercial growth and customer engagement through effective marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective marketing strategies.
