Retail Customer Experience Specialist

Seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our customer-focused environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.

This is a long-term casual position that requires strong customer service, hospitality, and retail skills. You'll also be responsible for stock replenishment, merchandising, general cleaning, hotbox cooking, and console operation.

The ideal candidate will be living within close proximity to Yandina and available to work a minimum of 24 hours a week. The shifts consist of:

  • Week 1: 3 x 8-hour closing shifts = 24 hours
  • Week 2: 4 x 8-hour closing shifts = 32 hours

We operate a rotating roster, which includes working every second weekend. You must be available to work weekends and all public holidays.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing customers with friendly and efficient customer service
  • Operating point of sale and cash handling with accuracy
  • Ensuring strict compliance to company policies and procedures
  • Food preparation and general cleaning duties with an eye for detail
  • Store presentation and stock rotation
  • Stock ordering

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following selection criteria:

  • Ability to work across a flexible roster, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays
  • Effective communication with customers, staff, and management
  • Previous retail experience, especially stock control, is an advantage
  • Hospitality experience is also advantageous
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Ability to fill a shift at short notice
  • Work in a strictly non-smoking environment
  • Have your own reliable transport
