Employee Relations Manager

U&U Recruitment Partners is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a vital role in shaping the Employee Relations function and implementing best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs on Employee Relations matters
  • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with relevant awards and legislation
  • Manage employee grievances, complaints processes, and investigations
  • Interpret and apply relevant awards and legislation
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Provide education and coaching to management regarding the correct application of awards and legislation
  • Report on Employee Relations trends to senior leadership
  • Act as a key point of contact for unions and oversee any required negotiations
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and the Schads Award
  • Experience in an NFP, community, disability, aged care, healthcare, or similar sector
  • Experience suggesting and implementing processes and policies
  • Ability to manage complex Employee Relations cases
  • Continuous improvement mindset with resilience and strong relationship-building skills
