Job Description

As a senior procurement specialist, you will take ownership of strategic sourcing, negotiate supplier agreements, manage environmental and social responsibility requirements, and guarantee supply continuity across multiple production facilities and retail sites. Your expertise will be essential in leading the procurement strategy, mentoring a small team, and promoting best practices throughout the business.

  • Strategize and execute effective procurement plans to meet business objectives
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring optimal pricing and terms
  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures that align with organizational goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Lead and mentor a team of two, fostering capability and collaboration

Key Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, preferably within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector

Proven success managing international supply chains and freight forwarders

Adept at supplier negotiations, sourcing, and contract management

Strong knowledge of ERP systems and purchasing processes

Commercially savvy with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Degree-qualified in Business, Procurement, or related discipline
