About the Role

This senior procurement position plays a crucial role in leading end-to-end procurement operations including sourcing, negotiating supplier agreements, managing ESG requirements, and ensuring supply continuity across production facilities and retail sites. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing international supply chains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead supplier negotiations and manage all supplier contracts
  • Review and enhance procurement policies and procedures
  • Manage ESG and modern slavery reporting requirements
  • Coordinate all import activities including freight, cost calculations, and invoice management
  • Maintain optimal stock levels aligned to production forecasts
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain improvements
  • Support NPD sourcing requirements and item setup in ERP
  • Lead and mentor a team of two, fostering capability and cross-functional collaboration
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG
  • Proven success managing international supply chains and freight forwarders
  • Adept at supplier negotiations, sourcing, and contract management
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems ideally SAP, purchasing processes, and Excel
  • Commercially savvy with strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Degree qualified in Business, Procurement, or related discipline
