Job Description

This role involves responding to reports about potential safety concerns surrounding children who may have been harmed or are at risk of harm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with parents, family members, children, or young people to address their needs and concerns.
  • Engage in collaborative problem-solving with other agencies to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Visit families in their homes to assess and address safety and well-being concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized safety plans and conduct thorough risk assessments.
  • Manage complex cases, including working with clients and families with high needs and risk factors.
  • Participate in court processes and engage with relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field, along with practical experience.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build strong, positive relationships.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and hold a paid Working with Children clearance number.
