
Trauma Informed Care Specialist

Deliver specialist care to individuals and families impacted by sexual assault, domestic/family violence, and abuse.
About the Role- Lead a skilled team providing culturally safe, high-quality service delivery across the Northern Tablelands.
- Deliver counselling for those affected by trauma, including sexual assault, domestic violence, or other forms of abuse.
- Represent NSW Health in multi-agency forums addressing serious threats.
- Expand access to care through outreach services in Glen Innes, Tenterfield, and Warialda.
- Participate in crisis response and psychosocial care for recent sexual assault presentations.
- Hold a qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, which provides eligibility or membership of relevant professional associations/provisional or general registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Meet the requirements of a Level 4 Allied Health Clinician.
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence and ability to travel within an outreach capacity.
