We are seeking skilled and compassionate individuals to take on a challenging role in mortuary services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver dignified care and respect to deceased persons, ensuring their presentation is of the highest standard
- Collaborate with funeral directors to facilitate smooth transfers and encoffining procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness and sterility of mortuary facilities and equipment, adhering to strict protocols
- Perform coffin/casket trimming and engraving, as well as manage stock levels effectively
- Monitor daily workflows, maintaining accurate records and identifying areas for improvement
- Excellent customer service skills, effective communication, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Current full driver's license, and certification as a Mortuary Technician (highly regarded)
- Fitness for the role, both physically and psychologically
