Job Description:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Planner in our Planning team.

">

You will be responsible for carrying out services that range from preparing planning reports, navigating complex approvals pathways, and providing strategic environmental advice on land use and development proposals.

">

Key responsibilities include assisting with preparing planning reports at local and state significant scales, liaising with stakeholders, and attending meetings with clients, councils, consultants & other government agencies.

As a Planner, you will have the opportunity to work independently on small-scale projects as well as being part of larger, multi-discipline teams working on more complex projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • A university qualification in Town Planning or Environmental Planning;">
  • 1-5 years' experience in town planning or environmental planning, ideally in consulting;">
  • The ability to analyse and interpret situations and problems to develop appropriate solutions;">
  • Experience in statutory approvals for industry, extractive industry, or environmental approvals;">
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and high computer literacy;">
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a team;">
  • Australian citizenship or rights to work in Australia.">
