Seeking an Environment and Planning Specialist to advise on large-scale energy, renewables, and infrastructure projects in Australia. This role involves collaborating with leading partners on environmental assessments, planning appeals, biodiversity offsets, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize approval pathways for new projects by leveraging expertise in environment and planning law.
- Conduct thorough environmental assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Handle complex planning appeals and panel hearings with confidence.
- Develop effective biodiversity offset strategies to mitigate environmental impacts.
- Manage environmental licensing and secondary approvals efficiently.
- Qualified lawyer with 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in environment and planning law.
- Strong interest in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Commercial awareness and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
