Job Opportunity

A private credit fund seeks a Director of Property to spearhead their Private Markets division, offering flexibility in location between Sydney CBD and Melbourne.

Responsibilities
  • Originate high-quality lending opportunities above $10 million within the commercial real estate landscape.
  • Develop strategic sales initiatives that support long-term organisational objectives.
  • BUILD lasting relationships with key industry players, brokers, developers, investors and represent the firm at prominent events.
  • Evaluate complex financials and structure bespoke loan solutions tailored to both client requirements and internal risk parameters.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years' experience in commercial real estate lending with a proven record of originating large mortgages above $10 million.
  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial property finance including loan structuring, underwriting processes, and documentation standards.
  • Exceptional financial analysis skills coupled with advanced modelling capabilities enable effective assessment of complex deals.
  • Demonstrated ability in business development and sales ensures consistent achievement of origination targets through relationship-driven strategies.
  • Outstanding communication skills facilitate clear interactions with clients as well as persuasive presentations before committees or external partners.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities foster trust-based collaborations both internally among teams and externally with stakeholders across diverse backgrounds.
  • Meticulous attention to detail combined with excellent organisational skills supports efficient management of multiple concurrent transactions.
