Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Grid Technologies team at Siemens Energy. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed according to the standards stipulated within Project Excellence at Siemens Energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate overall planning of the project, workforce, and specialized test equipment.
  • Monitor milestone and adherence to budgets, and initiate actions to minimize non-conformance cost.
  • Participate in senior level engagement with customers and partners to establish close and trustful relations.
  • Adhere to Siemens Energy's Project Management, Project Excellence, Business Conduct Guidelines & HSE standards.
  • Manage and coordinate all temporarily assigned project staff as well as being able to do site visits on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years of working experience within the areas of Transmission Service (HVDC, FACTS, GIS, AIS, TX, CBs etc).
  • Experience & knowledge of Transmission Products, Solutions and Services.
  • Previous experience as site / field service technician or supervisor would also be considered.
  • Relevant training in PM including certification by a professional body desired.
  • Comfortable handling commercial-related topics.
  • Able to exhibit a keen eye for detail with regards to Contract management.
  • Able to communicate well within the local, regional, and global team.
  • Understands cultural differences and copes with them effectively.
  • Ability to improvise and willingness to experience unpredictable situations.
  • Positive attitude to work in challenging environment and in embracing dedication.
  • Strong competence in using IT Tools including Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce etc.
What You Bring
  • Participates in upfront customer discussions and represents the project in the relevant discussions; both internally & externally.
