The Revenue Accounting Systems Leader is a critical role within the Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading system requirements for the Revenue Accounting team across development, maintenance, testing, and administrative activities.

To succeed in this position, you should have an undergraduate degree in Business or strong aviation industry experience with either experience as a Business Analyst or in a Systems/Process Improvement role or airline experience in a ticketed environment.

A key focus of this role is to lead project activity for Revenue Accounting across the organization, ensuring successful delivery as it relates to revenue. Additionally, the successful candidate will develop and maintain best practice policies and procedures for Revenue Accounting, including appropriate controls, to ensure revenue is recorded in an accurate and timely manner.

The Revenue Accounting team comprises an onshore and offshore team for the accurate and timely recognition of revenue. The team includes specialists with a detailed knowledge of airline ticketing and accountants, ensuring all revenue is recognised in accordance with accounting standards, revenue leakage is minimised, and receipt of cash is timely and complete through the completion of form of payment reconciliations, management of debtor accounts, and audit of travel agent sales.
