Senior Financial Transformation Specialist

This role is critical to advancing the maturity of financial management within a strategic project team. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance, implement improved financial processes, and deliver meaningful insights to uplift performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement improved financial management frameworks, tools, and reporting structures;
  • Provide subject matter expertise in budgeting, forecasting, capitalisation, and financial governance;
  • Analyse financial data to support executive decision-making and audit responses;
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand requirements and drive capability uplift;
  • Develop project documentation such as process maps, business cases, and performance reports; and
  • Support change management, capability development, and cross-functional engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive financial management experience in infrastructure or asset-heavy industries;
  • Strong understanding of AASB standards and financial governance;
  • Proven experience in financial transformation, not just BAU operations;
  • Proficiency in financial tools such as Excel, ERP systems, Power BI;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a focus on practical outcomes; and
  • A hands-on, collaborative and proactive work style.
