Why We Need You @ Koala

We're seeking an experienced 3D artist specialising in the creation of realistic 3D renders for furniture industrial design and high-impact film assets for marketing and communications. As our Chief Furniture Visualisation Specialist, you'll lead the development of stunning, detailed, and operational digital representations of our award-winning furniture, working closely with designers, engineers, and the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create photorealistic 3D renders of furniture industrial designs, focusing on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop highly detailed and realistic fabrics and materials to enhance the realism of the renders.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure that each model meets specifications and design requirements.
  • Work with the marketing team to create compelling visual assets for promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
  • Gather information from sketches, drawings, photographs, and video, as well as materials, finished product samples, and other relevant data to create accurate models.
  • Oversee and maintain our library of furniture models built in collaboration with Cylindo.
  • Manage the day-to-day project management and workflow of 3D Assets for Koala with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in 3D rendering and industrial design.
What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits that make Koala a great place to work.
