Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Fellow to join our team at the Centre for Medical Radiation Physics (CMRP) at the University of Wollongong.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a cutting-edge deep-learning dose engine to verify adaptive X-ray radiotherapy treatment plans for head and neck cancers.
  • Collaborate with partner hospitals across Australia to leverage expertise in deep learning and Monte Carlo simulation using Geant4.
  • Contribute to pioneering research and innovation in medical physics.
  • Work in a highly multi-disciplinary research team, including physicists, hospital-based medical physicists, computer scientists, and oncologists.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Requirements
  • Doctoral qualification in Physics.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in collaboration with international researchers.
