Key Responsibilities- Develop a cutting-edge deep-learning dose engine to verify adaptive X-ray radiotherapy treatment plans for head and neck cancers.
- Collaborate with partner hospitals across Australia to leverage expertise in deep learning and Monte Carlo simulation using Geant4.
- Contribute to pioneering research and innovation in medical physics.
- Work in a highly multi-disciplinary research team, including physicists, hospital-based medical physicists, computer scientists, and oncologists.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Doctoral qualification in Physics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in collaboration with international researchers.
The CMRP is one of the largest medical physics research centres in the South-East Asia-Pacific region. We are dedicated to the development of semiconductor detectors and dosimeters for clinical applications in radiation protection, radiation oncology, and nuclear medicine, as well as high energy physics applications.
