Our team of allied health experts drives cutting-edge practices, quality assessments, and rehabilitation. We are seeking a talented Rehabilitation Counsellor with expertise in undertaking vocational assessments to join our team.

As a Rehabilitation Counsellor at Benchmark Rehab, you will play a critical role in supporting diverse clients helping them regain their lives. You will work closely with clients across various schemes, including CTP Insurance and Life Insurance, to help them overcome physical and mental health challenges and resume daily activities.

  • Vocational counselling services to support rehabilitation progress and return to life and work outcomes
  • Health coaching, including goal setting, stress management, adjustment to change, building resilience, etc.
  • Conducting vocational assessments
  • Complex case management and disability support services to assist clients achieve return to life, return to education, and return to work goals
  • Evaluate and implement holistic, proactive, client-centred approaches to rehabilitation services
About the Role:
  • Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans
  • Provide vocational guidance and support to enhance clients' employability and independence
  • Conduct comprehensive vocational assessments to identify clients' strengths, limitations, and employment potential
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, assessments, and interventions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current ASORC registration
  • Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation
  • Valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle
  • Able to provide a WWCC and Police Clearance
