Sales Manager Job Description

The Sales Manager role is a critical position in driving business growth and success. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives to achieve high levels of performance and revenue targets.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing and medical, to develop and implement sales strategies that meet or exceed business objectives.

You will also be responsible for managing annual sales targets, implementing sales activities, and delivering results-driven presentations to key stakeholders.

As a Sales Manager, you will need to possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in life sciences or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: People management experience from direct reporting lines required. Primary sales experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
