Child and Family Health Nurse Role

We are seeking a skilled Child and Family Health Nurse to join our team at Hawkesbury Community Health Centre. This is a permanent full-time position with a competitive salary package.

This role will involve delivering high-quality, compassionate care to children aged 0–5 years and their families, as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA), and recent experience and clinical skill in caring for children aged 0–5 years and their families/carers as a registered nurse.

About the Role
  • Deliver evidence-based, client-centered nursing services that support optimal health, growth and wellbeing.
  • Provide assessment, early intervention, appropriate referral, health promotion and education.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes for children and families.
Key Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Demonstrated recent experience and clinical skill in caring for children aged 0–5 years and their families/carers
  • Ability to provide person-centered, family-inclusive and culturally sensitive nursing care
