Aircraft cabin cleaners are essential to maintaining cleanliness and safety in aircraft cabins.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Cleaning of aircraft and corporate offices is required
  • Internal aircraft cleaning and cabin dressing services need to be performed
  • Procedures for quarantine must be followed
  • Contact with various airport service providers is necessary
  • Collaboration with ramp service teams is important
  • Issues affecting flight operations should be identified and resolved, with timely communication to senior staff
  • Administrative services including data retrieval, printing, and entry regarding flights require computer skills
Requirements
  • The ability to work safely and follow directions is essential
  • Awareness training for dangerous goods must be completed
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Applicable tarmac vehicle licenses must be maintained
  • Experience in all aspects of tarmac operations is necessary
  • Familiarity with aviation legislation can be beneficial
  • Understanding of key airport bodies is an advantage
  • Sound computer skills are essential
  • Ground-to-air radio experience or a Flight Radio Telephone Operator License would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills for liaison with personnel involved in airport operations are required
  • Remaining calm and controlled under pressure is vital
