Job Title: Security Systems Business Development Manager

We're seeking an experienced Security Systems Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for developing and establishing new business relationships with prospective commercial security customers, key influencers, and designated vertical market targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently achieve budgeted Security System Installation monthly/quarterly/annual sales for secured bookings & margin
  • Business development activities to establish a solid pipeline to deliver consistent monthly/quarterly/annual sales budgets
  • Spend a minimum 70% of your time in the field prospecting, quoting, and closing new business
  • Report weekly sales pipeline, weekly forecasts & activity through Salesforce
  • When required, assist with the preparation and response to complex tender responses, delivering quotes as required
  • Target new accounts through tender responses and cold calling, to maximise secured bookings and gross margin
  • Ensure best-in-class customer service, assisting with liaison and follow-up of customers as required
  • Undertake face-to-face presentations to clients for specific service and product offerings
  • Develop and deliver personal performance KPIs annually

Licenses:

  • Must hold a current security license
  • Preferably hold an NV1 clearance or must be able to obtain an NV1 clearance (applicable to Australian citizens only)
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years within the Australian security industry, including and not limited to security sales experience
  • Ideally hold certifications in Gallagher, Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, Inner-range & C-CURE
  • Tertiary Qualifications preferred: Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Advanced Microsoft & Sales Force skills
