Senior Case Manager Role

Making a difference in your community as a case manager with Community Corrections is an exciting opportunity. This role involves ensuring community safety through case management of adults subject to orders within the community.

The position assesses risk and need, maintaining high standards of assessment practices that facilitate effective supervision and improve reintegration and rehabilitation of individuals subject to community-based orders.

This senior role requires negotiation and conflict resolution skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels. You will work self-sufficiently and cope with the pace, complexity, and multi-tasking required in this operating environment.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills for liaison with management, staff, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience working within a legislative framework that underpins core service delivery areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for negotiating with stakeholders on sensitive and complex issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Australian driver's licence (minimum C class).
  • Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community) to be completed within 12 months of commencing employment.
